Anvil Dust

Anvil Dust is a natural by-product of the art of blacksmithing. Made up of the shavings and splinters of iron, many use anvil dust within protection and luck workings.
Within many folk and hoodoo traditions, this powder is used by sprinkling onto Loadstones (a natural magnetic stone used in luck and attraction workings). The iron acts as a food for the stone, giving it life and vitality to draw in what your intentions wish to attract. 
While others use this potent powder for protection sprinkling around the entrance to the home or property, keeping unwanted spirits and the Fae away. It's also said to be highly protective against magick, add to your protection oils, or carry on your person to keep hexes and curses away.
