These beautiful antique iron keys are the perfect addition to any altar, or use as a tool within spell and ritual work. Iron keys have been used for 100s of years over multiple cultures as a symbol of Protection, Abundance, Travle, Unblocking, Unlocking and as aid within astral travle.
In Cornwall its said if you hang and iron key above a bed or cot it will protect adults, children and infants from being taken by the fae. It's also said it will stop all bad dreams and nightmares from taking hold of you keeping the hag away. Within the Hellenic path keys are a symbol of the Titian Goddess Hekate, Mother of Witches and Goddess of the cross roads and of the dead. Keys are a scared symbol to her and are often hung or give as an offering on her Altars. Similarly in the Voodoo/Vodou paths they are a sacred symbol of Papa Legba Loa of the cross roads, keys are given as an offering to him and hung by doors as a symbol of his domain.
Each key varies in sizes due to them being antique appearance will vary also.
